Bananas: a natural sleeping pill

Insomnia causes a lot of frustration. Who does not know this horrible feeling of moving and spinning for hours thinking of the good sleep we would be getting if we managed to find it or the anguish of the next morning thinking how tired we will be … There are many reasons that keep us from getting to sleep. Anxiety, stress, depression, etc. The list is long. If you think of millions of things, your body will not be able to calm down. One of the factors that are often overlooked is the effect of screens on our bodies. The light emitted by TV, computer, or cell phone scrambles the body’s natural rhythms, causing your brain to think, mistakenly, that it is not yet time to sleep.

Fortunately, there is something that works and it is not a drug. It’s called banana tea and it’s very easy to make.

How does it work?

Bananas contain a lot of potassium and magnesium. Combined with each other, they have a relaxing effect on the muscles and the magnesium prevents having jerky sleep. As you boil a banana in water (and eat it afterward), it is important that the latter be organic to prevent you from ingesting toxic particles during your tasting.

In just 10 minutes, you have an elixir of sleep.

Definitely worth a try if you want to get a good night’s sleep.
